Hitchin' Post Kennels Main Page

A little about Hitchin' Post Kennel - The kennel doors opened Dec. of 2001 (thanks to my hubby's early xmas gift.) I first joined DKC, thinking "Wow! people actually can show their dogs.........kewl". I went on to join the PKC and the CZPKC as well. After a few days of getting dogz registered and working on show pics.. entered shows in each group and I was hooked. Well life being life I wasn't active very much in any of the groups. About the fall of 2002 the CZPKC announced it was going to be finding a different place since CZ was going to start charging members. So I put all the dogs I had adopted over the months in the regs for CZ and waited. One day I noticed just how many I had tried to register and felt guilty (ever go on an adopting spree? ya I had a few) so I offered to help with registrations so the owner could get things backed up and moved. Well over the next few days the owner and I were talking and she found out I knew html codes and it has been one HUGE FUN ROLLERCOASTER RIDE ever since.

I tried staying with DKC and PKC thru their many changes but after a while got tired of the politics and the nit picking that was going on.........so I kinda just backed out and stopped showing my dogs in those clubs. I did go with the clubs thru the changes however with the thoughts of trying to show a few dogs. But I have decided that when those 2 clubs revamp the records again I will not be along for the ride as I just don't have the time to deal with all 3 clubs. So i will not be posting links to the DKC and PKC (best of luck to them though)

All of my time now is spent on the CZPKC, Irishnut has helped me learn so much about dog shows and the different breeds. (GBH to her) Her time and patience is outstanding. Together we have poured lots of blood, sweat and tears into the CZPKC. Irishnut has also helped to make Hitchin' Post Kennel what it is today (thanks for the cocker spaniels *wink* I love them) I used to have such a strong stance against getting new breeds........now I am like Wow! neat dog!
